Fuerza and Toros Even at 2-2

The Halcones Rojos made it look easy against the Pioneros, two games on the road, two at home, four wins and they advance to the LNBP finals after sweeping the Pioneros of Cancun out of the playoffs with a 97-91 game four victory last night. Leroy Hickerson went out with a bang leading the Pioneros with 28, his teammate John Millsap scored 19 and despite out rebounding and outscoring the Halcones the Pioneros could't hold one. For the Halcones, Paul Stoll, likely had his biggest game of the season with 32, Luis Bethelmy and Noe Alonzo combined for 32. The Halcones await the winner of the Fuerza-Toros to see who they will play in the finals...Fuerza outran the Toros in game four winning 96-79 and tied the series at two games each. Terrance Shannon and Alvin Cruz went off for 25 and 22 respectively while Donta Smith collected 15 boards for Fuerza who pouned the Toros down low. Ike Ofoegbu went nuts for 32 and 10 but it wasn't enough as the Toros got run over at home. Game 5 is tonight in Nuevo Laredo, will the Toros return to Monterrey with a 3-2 lead?
