Fuerza Pulls Ahead, Venezuela, D.R.,Puerto Rico Heading to London?

Out of mexico last night Fuerza Regia and the Toros of Nuevo Laredo did battle in game five with Fuerza coming out on top, 69-69 while taking a 3-2 series lead in the process.  Donta Smith went off for 29 and 14 while his teammate Alonso Izaguirre chipped in with 10 rebounds for Fuerza who shot a horrid 36% from the field. For the Halcones Ike Ofoegbu put up 23 and 10, Elys Guzman had 13 and 10 and Lonnie Vasquez collected 10 boards. The series returns to Veracruz...can Fuerza steal one more on the road to punch their ticket to the LNBP Finals or will Veracruz storm back to win the final two games? In NBA news, yes, we're posting the Blake Griffin dunk again because...well, it's awesome...the C's won again but are they looking to improve with a trade of KG? Say it ain't so! Is Gilbert Arenas gonna make the Lakers any better? ...In FIBA news, the London Olympics are coming up this summer and yesterday the draw was announced that will allow twelve teams an opportunity to battle for three remaining tickets to the Olympics. Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico will represent the Americas and the tournament will be held in Venezuela July 2-8
