Los actuales campeones se encuentran listos para enfrentar su primer encuentro ante los Halcones Rojos de Veracruz y así iniciar con la temporada 2010-11 de la LNBP.
Los emplumados realizaron la mañana de este miércoles su último entrenamiento en casa para partir por la tarde al Puerto jarocho que los espera para dar inicio a la nueva aventura del baloncesto profesional. Antes de partir los Halcones UV Xalapa tuvieron su última charla en casa en la que el entrenador Iván Déniz ultimo detalles con el equipo.
Respecto al enfrentamiento que tendrán este jueves en el cual enfrentaran a los subcampeones de la LNBP, dos nuevos integrantes del equipo nos platicaron lo que significa esta experiencia. |

ATHENS (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Rajon Rondo has scaled the heights with the Boston Celtics but he won’t do the same with Team USA this summer in Istanbul after deciding to withdraw from the squad.
The electric point guard, an NBA champion in the 2007-08 campaign, struggled in a win against Lithuania over the weekend and didn’t play in his side’s 86-85 win over Spain on Sunday.

Lou Roe is in Xalapa's house. The 38 year old NBA vet joined the Halcones of Xalapa bringing his experience in the post with him.
