The Celtics couldn’t pull off the home and home sweep of the Heat last night, falling eventually to Miami in overtime. Jaylen Brown had a season high 37 including a game tying three at the end of regulation. Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 28 and Jimmy Butler had 25 and 15 including a few daggers in overtime to seal the victory for Miami. The Heat improve to 11 – 12 while the Celtics sit at 18 – 5.
Donovan Mitchell had 34 and 7 in a Cavs win over the Magic. Dejounte Murray led the Hawks over the Nuggets with 34 and 8. Zion dropped 30 and collected 15 boards in a Pels win over the Spurs. Jordan Pool went for 30 to get the Warriors back on the winning track. Jalen Green dropped 30 and the Rockets sneak past Suns. Ja Morant had 28 and 8 in a gritty Grizzlie win over the Sixers.
Kyrie keeps the Nets winning as they run past the Raptors, he had 27. Terry Rozier scored 25 to pace the Hornets to victory over the Wizzards 117 – 116. Lauri Markkanen notches a double double with 24 and 13 in a 139 – 119 win over the Pacers. AD had a monstrous game and dropped a season high 44 while collecting 10 boards en route to a 133 – 129 win over the Bucks. Lebron scored 28 with 11 dimes. Khris Middleton added 17 in his first game back this season and Giannis had 40 in the loss.
