Heat guard Kyle Lowry ruled out for Game 4 with hamstring strain

Kyle Lowry totaled six points, four rebounds and five assists in Game 3 before leaving with a hamstring injury.

Heat point guard Kyle Lowry is officially out for tonight’s Game 4 matchup against the Atlanta Hawks (7 ET, TNT), the team announced Sunday afternoon.

As for the Hawks, center Clint Capela, who has not played at all in the first round series due to a hyperextended knee, is available tonight. Capela  Coach Nate McMillan told reporters Capela would be a game-time decision.

Additionally, several key players for Miami are listed as questionable for Game 4 including Bam Adebayo (quad), P.J. Tucker (calf) and Caleb Martin (ankle).

The veteran guard left Friday’s 111-110 Game 3 loss with 1:59 remaining in the third quarter, at which point the Heat led by 13. The Hawks outscored them by 14 the rest of the way, retaking the lead for good on Trae Young’s floater with 4.4 seconds remaining.

Lowry finished with six points, four rebounds and five assists in 23 minutes.

With the win, the Hawks now trail the best-of-seven series 2-1.
