Luka Doncic is surely in the reckoning for regular-season MVP based on his outstanding performance so far. The rising star from the Dallas Mavericks has been outstanding and has dominated in his 14 games so far in the season. He has notched up 7 triple-doubles, including a game where he scored 42 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assist- LeBron James is the only other player in NBA history to achieve a 40-point triple-double before the age of 21. Doncic is currently averaging 29.5 scoring, 10.7 rebounding and 9.3 in assist which puts him in the top bracket of performers so far in NBA 2019. If his form continues like this, Doncic will surely be a candidate for regular-season MVP.
