Rookie Paolo Banchero was too much for the Celtics last night as he dropped 31 points for the Magic in their second win in as many games against Boston. It was the Magic’s sixth straight win. The Knicks won their NBA league leading seventh game in a row. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 30. In December the Knicks are locking it down on D allowing a league low of 97 points per contest.
KD dropped 26…in the third quarter and ended with 43 to lead the Nets to a win over the Pistons. Brooklyn was down 17 at half time. Kyrie chipped in with 38 in the Nets’ win. The Warriors got a career high 43 from Jordan Poole to lead the Warriors to a 126 – 110 win over the Raptors. It was their first win in the last five games.
The Wolves dropped a 150 points in a win over the Bulls last night. Anthony Edwards paced the Timberwolves with 37. Nikola Jokic had a massive triple double, 40 – 27 -10, in a 119 – 116 Denver win over the Hornets. Jokic joins Wilt Chamberlain as the only player to notch a triple double with at least 40 points, 27 boards and 10 assists in a game. With AD out, the Lebron and the Lakers stepped up and got the 119 – 117 win over the Wizards. Lebron finished with 33 and 9 dimes.
