Monty Williams fined $15,000 by NBA for publicly criticizing officials

NEW YORK — Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams has been fined $15,000 for public criticism of the officiating, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.

Williams made his comments to the media following the Suns’ 118-103 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on April 24 at Smoothie King Center.
