Just five games in the NBA on Thursday night but they were doozies. The Sixers fell to the Atlanta Hawks. Trae Young had 26 points and seven assists to lead Atlanta to victory. Kyle Kuzma was the surprise of the night, dropping 36 points to go with 11 dimes to lead the Wizards over the Mavericks. The Wizards pulled to .500 on the season and the Mavericks go to 6 and 5. Jerami Grant paced the Trailblazers with 27 points along with a highlight flush on Zion as the Blazers defeated the Pelicans and notched their ninth win in the process. Jimmy Buckets poured in 35 points and collected 10 rebounds for the Heat as they outpaced the Hornets who fell to 3 – 10. The Heat picked up their 5th win of the year.
