On Saturday night, the Hawks outlasted the Raptors in OT when Trae Young connected with A.J. Griffin for an oop at the buzzer to secure victory for the Hawks who improved to 10 – 6. Young had 33 points and 12 dimes to lead the Hawks. The Pacers improved to 9-6 with a 114 – 113 win over the struggling Magic. Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 22 points and 14 assists. On a back to back, the Sixers slipped up against the T Wolves losing 109 – 112. Anthony Edwards paced the T Wolves again with 25 points. Embiid had 32 for the Sixers but it was not enough. The Jazz are good. They beat another good team in the Blazers. Malik Beasley dropped 29 for the Jazz, his teammate Jordan Clarkson had 28, with 15 coming in the fourth quarter, to pace the Jazz to their 12th win of the season.
