The elusive Finals MVP award is finally in the possession of the Warriors’ Stephen Curry after scoring 34 points in a closeout Game 6.

Stephen Curry has been awarded the 2022 Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award. It’s his first Finals MVP, to go along a pair of regular-season Kia MVP awards.

Golden State’s superstar was a unanimous selection after averaging 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the series. Curry finished with 34 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in the clincher, giving him 30 or more in three straight games at Boston.
