Kerr’s is the latest high-profile absence in what has been emotional playoff series. A flagrant foul by Memphis guard Dillon Brooks resulted in a fractured elbow for Warriors guard Gary Payton II, who will miss the remainder of this series and likely more.

Meanwhile Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant is dealing with right knee soreness that was aggravated in Game 3, an injury he and others on the team felt was due to questionable play by Warriors guard Jordan Poole. He was listed as doubtful heading into Game 4.

The Warriors entered Monday’s game holding a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
